Happy Homemaker Monday! {3/11/13}

Boy it was a busy week last week. We were blessed with two snow days. It was nice not having to go anywhere and spending some time with the kids. Did a lot of serious cleaning and we try and figure out our home selling/moving plan of attack. Lucas had Dr. Seuss week and did lots of fun things at school with that. I wish we had that when I was in school. I love Dr. Seuss!

The weather: It was warm this morning, but it dropped off quite a bit this afternoon. Over all it was a dreary kind of day and it looks like most of the week is going to be like that as well.

On my reading pile: 1-2-3 Magic and Beautiful Creatures…haven’t had a whole lot of time to read lately.

On my TV: Currently the History Channel’s The Men who built America. (The hubs pick not mine….I was hoping to watch the rest of my recorded Hart of Dixie…I got laughed at. )

On the menu for this week:
Monday – Pasta e’ Fagoli and Amish Bread
Tuesday – Left Overs
Wednesday – Homemade Pizza

Thursday – Leftovers
Friday – Hopefully the Sushi I’ve been promised…didn’t end up getting it last Friday
Saturday – Crockpot meal
Sunday –we are going to see where the week goes…probably leftovers

On my to do list: Laundry, Baking, Cleaning, Working on custom orders from the shop, and planning some new items.

My "projects" for the week: Finish cleaning the house and taking pictures. Custom orders, and getting gifts ready for the many family members having babies this spring.

What I am cooking: Made pasta e fagoli for dinner. I really need to modify the recipe so there is more liquid in it. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Looking around the house: Things are surprisingly pretty clean besides the kitchen, that at this point is going to wait until morning.

Highlight of the past weekend: Coming in 3rd at the trivia competition, celebrating the up-coming arrival of my new niece or nephew, and spending some wonderful time with my family!

Looking forward to this week: Getting things accomplished. And hearing about Lucas’s week as he is now going full day.
