Ending week 29 and into week 30!

This week has been a week of learning how to accept help and take it easy.  I am truly blessed with amazing family.  Both my mom and my mother-in-law have been amazing this week with helping out.  And so has my sister.   I don't know what I would do with out them.  The week itself has gone well.  I had only one day that I really felt bad, and that was because I tried to do to much.  Otherwise, things have been going well.  I am working with the doctors to keep myself monitored.  I have a new machine that I am using to monitor, twice a day for an hour, to see if I am having contractions.  Then data is then sent to the hospital and they call me to let me know if things are going well, or if something is wrong.  Really its a good way to keep myself in check and resting.

My 29 week doctor appointment went well, outside the hour long wait it took for me to actually get in and see her.  Doctor was pleased with all my blood work I had done - blood count good and no gestational diabetes!  She would still like to see me make it to 37 weeks - my October 1st goal....so I am going to follow everything possible to keep these babies in there!!! That news made me feel a little more relaxed, but I know I still need to watch what I do and take it easy.  After the appointment, I had a lovely visit with all the nurses on the OB floor for another Non-Stress Test (NST).  As boring as those are to just sit there for 2 hours and do nothing, I will say I did end up getting a nice nap, which was desperately needed by that time anyway.  Both babies are doing well and moving all over the place.

So in a nut shell:  the week went well.  I spent most of it doing a whole lot of nothing and taking it easy.  I have been living at my mom's during the day, and my mother-in-law and sister have been helping out in the evenings until Brian makes it home.  I am hoping and praying really hard that the rest and help keep these babies where they need to, until they are big enough.  Maybe next week we will have a little more exciting news, but for now here are this weeks fun little facts.

How far along: 29 weeks 6 days - 71 days more (or less!!)
Have you started to show yet:  Still growing a nice baby bump.  :)
Total weight gain/loss: Am I am up 8lbs from my starting.  I was informed this week that the normal weight gain for multiples is between 40 and 50 pounds.  I think I am doing well!
Belly Button in or out? In as of right now it is getting close to 'popping.'  Which is first for me.
Rings on/off:  They had to come off.  My finger was hurting from the constant swelling and going back to normal.  I hate not having my rings on though.
Maternity Clothes:  Top and Shoes from Target, Jeans from Old Navy

Size of Babies: At 30 weeks the babies should be just under 3 pounds and about 15.7 inches long..about the size of an eggplant.
Heart Rates: Both babies heart rates ranged between 145 and 150.

Weird Changes:  I realized this morning that through out this pregnancy so far, I haven't not had to really keep up on shaving my legs.  Too much info?!?  Sorry, but I find that interesting (and nice) that I don't need to shave every day.

Sleep: Sleep is ok.  Its the getting up to pee that is the kicker - we are up to between 3-6 times a night using the facilities.
Best moment this week: Dylan telling me where the babies are in my belly.  I am hoping he is starting to understand what is going to be coming home in a few more weeks.

Movement: All over the place.  These babies might be the most active that I have had.
Stretch marks? More and more are popping up each day.
Symptoms:  Exhausted quickly and sore from the belly growing and stretching
Labor Signs: Small contractions here and there.  Trying to keep them under control by not doing a whole lot..

Food cravings: I am just trying to eat anything that will go down at the moment.  Nothing ever seems to really sound good these days.
Food aversions: Fish and most pork

Pregnancy best friend: My planner/calender.  I don't know what I would do with out it.  Especially right now.  I have all my appointments, contacts, doctors, and daily events that that I need to remember written in here.  It's quickly filling up.  But it also helps me keep my head in the game as the count down to meeting our new little ones approaches.

Gender prediction: The doctors know, but we are still guessing.  And Brian keeps egging me on to find out.

What I miss: Being able to take care of my house and kids with out restrictions.
What I am looking forward to: Keeping these babies cooking for longer!!!!

Weekly Wisdom: Learn the art of 'asking for help.'

Milestones: We have made it to week 30!!!!!

Thanks so much for reading.   Have a great day!
