Hello all! Hope you have all had a wonderful week. Things have been going well so far with all of us. My energy for the most part has returned and most of the nausea has gone away as well. We had another ultrasound last week (@ 12 wks 5 days) and the babies are growing just wonderfully. They are measuring out right where they are supposed to be. At today's doctor appointment I finally got to hear the heart beats. Still one of my favorite sounds! One baby's heart rate was 153 and the other was 148. So they are sounding good.
According to the doctors, we are having fraternal twins. Now because of this, it has been recommended that I increase my protein intake and take an extra iron supplement. So far this hasn't been a problem, although the combination of the prenatal vitamins and the iron pill, don't sit very well. I have to make sure that I take it in the middle of eating or otherwise I am sure I will be having a date with the porcelain goddess. (TMI?) Well now on to this weeks fun little facts.
Best moment this week: Big L told me there was a boy and a girl in mommy's belly. He got really upset when I tried to explain that there could be a boy and a girl, or 2 boys, or 2 girls in there. We don't know what God has blessed us with yet.
Stretch marks? Found some new ones, although I am not THAT big yet. Oh well, that's the name of the game.
Food cravings: Beef, hamburgers, veggies, salads and Chinese...not sure when this one showed up but its ok :)
Gender prediction: We are taking guesses!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Take it easy when your energy comes back, over doing will exhaust you!
Milestones: Made it to the 2nd Trimester!!! And was able to hear the heart beats for the 1st time!

How far along: 13 weeks 6 days, today
Have you started to show yet: Yes!! And it's growing every day!
Total weight gain/loss: Still down 4.3 lbs from starting, but have gained about 2 lbs back.
Belly Button in or out? In
Rings on/off: On as of right now.
Maternity Clothes: Jeans, Shirt, Sweater, and Earrings all from Old Navy. Necklace from Kohl's.
Size of Babies: About 3.5 inches. The size of a small Lemon. So imagine two little lemons doing flips in there. :)
Weird Changes: Ache! I feel like my face is back in high school, but with a few more wrinkles ;) I can tell my belly is growing - my c-section scar has gotten tender as it is starting to stretch with the growing belly.

Sleep: Sleeping a little better now that the kids aren't getting up as much. Little Man and Miss E both have been teething. Which has made for some really long days.
Movement: The flutters are getting stronger.
Stretch marks? Found some new ones, although I am not THAT big yet. Oh well, that's the name of the game.
Symptoms: Tired, but feeling much better than I have been.
Labor Signs: None and hoping to keep it that way for a long time.
Food cravings: Beef, hamburgers, veggies, salads and Chinese...not sure when this one showed up but its ok :)
Food aversions: Fish, most sweets still.
Pregnancy best friend: My new Boppy Pregnancy Comfort Cuddle Pillow. It really has helped with my sleeping and making my back not hurt so much at night. I got mine at Babies R Us for $32. It was well worth it I think.
What I miss: Sushi! I know I can't handle fish right now, but it sounds so good!!!
What I am looking forward to: Letting the kids feel the babies kick. I can feel them on the inside, but not outside yet. It's fun to share that little movement with them.
