Handmade Christmas Cheer: The beginning!

As the holiday season approaches, I am starting to think of gifts, decorating, and the real meaning of the Christmas season.  I LOVE decorating for Christmas.  I love the homey (is that a word?) feeling that it gives a house when it's so cold outside. The Christmas season reminds me of love, time spent with family, cooking and baking, and making gifts for loved ones.

This year we (the hubby & I) that we are going to make most of the kids Christmas gifts.  I have also planned on doing some more handmade decorations to add to our collection. Along with making cookies, and other gifts for friends and family. With this in mind I thought it might be fun to let you all in on what I am doing.  And hopefully not everyone guesses what they are going to be getting for gifts this year.

I am going to call this little endeavor:

I have made a list of projects I want to make, and share with you.  There should be lots to look forward too.  Ideas for baby, children, food for giving, simple gifts for family and friends, and more with tutorials and recipes to follow.  I hope that as Christmas grows ever so nearer, my projects will inspire you to have your self a Handmade Holiday as well.
