Finding the time...

So its been awhile since I have written something from the 1st post.  But finding the time with three little munch-kins has been a little difficult as of late.  But there is a project on the horizon coming.  Growing up in a farming family has created a bit of a liking towards tractors and barns as toys for my kids.  But finding a nice mat/rug to help them with their 'farming' has proven to be a bit on the difficult side.  So why not make one, especially with Spring planting season coming.  Here is a preview of my work in progress.

 Its been a learning process for my sewing skills and my sewing machine is getting a work-out but so far.I think it is turning out rather well.  I think mt kids are getting anxious to play with it...they keep asking me when is it going to be done.  Hopefully soon!
